Yes, Avatar: The Last Airbender is my new addiction. Toph is absolutely my fav.
Attitude + Blindness + Awesome sense of humor + Can kick my butt nine ways to Sunday = Epic win. She rocks, <snicker>.... (fans of the show should get that joke) Anyway, it seems like everyone is drawing modernized versions of the Avatar characters, so here's mine. This is also to celebrate 2000 pageviews. (See the iPod for more info) ... 2000. Wow. Oh, and in case you're worried about this being my new thing, I'm still working on the KonoSetsu stuff. The comic will continue this weekend (because I have a lot of work to do.) |

Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Eventually, I'm going to try a short animation of Toph doing some bending. It should be interesting.
The cloudy eyes certainly enhance the the zoned-out "I'm listening to music" expression.
Toph's gotta be one of my favorite female characters.
